A Note from Our President
It is my profound honor to have been elected President of the Georgia Federation of Democratic Women on April 18, 2026, to serve during the 2026–2028 term. I do not take this responsibility lightly. I stand on the shoulders of giants, the remarkable women who have built this organization, fought for its mission, and kept its flame burning through every season. It was a privilege to serve alongside the previous GFDW Executive Board, and I am equally honored to step forward with the distinguished officers who will serve with me in this new chapter. Together, we are ready.

To our chapter presidents, district directors, and members across this great state - thank you. The work you do every single day, often without fanfare or recognition, is the foundation upon which everything else rests. I look forward to attending your meetings, joining your events, and working shoulder to shoulder with you to win elections and impact the communities we love.
We accomplished much over the last two years. We drove Get Out The Vote efforts across Georgia, delivered massive support for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, helped elect two Democratic members to the Public Service Commission, and contributed to victories in state and local races from one end of this state to the other. That is something to be proud of and proof of what we are capable of when we move together.

But I want to be clear - the 2026 and 2028 elections are unlike anything our generation has faced. The stakes are not just high, they are existential. Whether we continue to live in a functioning democracy may well depend on what we do in the next two years. We must WIN. To do that will take the collective power, intellect, passion, and organizing strength of Democratic women across Georgia – and I believe that we are positioned and ready to lead.

Our mission is to strengthen every facet of the Democratic Party and to expand women's leadership and participation within it. So, let's get to work educating, donating, organizing, coalescing, supporting, and leading Democratic candidates to victory up and down every ballot in this state.
